Uhg. I HATE Biglotss' electronics. I never had toys from there (I was into the cheep crap at Dollar General) but I have gotten headphones from Biglots in the past, and they FREAKING break 2 weeks in. NEVER buying headphones from THAT ghetto hole EVER AGAIN.
My dad has to work at one, because they were the only place that was hiring, and we were really low on cash for, like, food.
He complains about the people that work there everyday. He's the only one who actually puts any effort into getting his work done. It's terrible. And, yes, everything I've bought from Big Lots has broke in about a week as well. It's what inspired me to start using antique EVERYTHING, because if it's worked for 50 years, it'll probably work for 50 more.
I <3 antiques too. But you make it cooler than I do (I turn into my 75 year old grandmother and my 51 year old Aunt at times, since I was raised around women for most of my life) Anyways I'll reply in the morning, gtg now to bed
Fun fact: I've only had one antique thing break on its own, and that was a Gramophone with a bad spring. Spring snapped right out, blew the little motor almost to pieces. It was a loud thud, and then... no more Tommy Dorsey for me.
